Maggie Lindemann brought her much anticipated “I Feel Everything Tour” to the historic 9:30 club in DC.

Opening the night was Ayleen Valentine, who made the stage her own with a striking blend of dramatic lighting and raw vulnerability. Stepping out in her signature ball gown and gas mask, she delivered a set that felt like a beautiful contradiction; her music explored deep themes of longing and despair through tracks like “wanted to **** myself today” and “don’t be sad,” yet her bubbly mid-song banter kept the room from sinking too far into the gloom. By the time she led the crowd in a cathartic final sing-along, the audience was fully primed for the high-octane shift that was about to follow.

When Maggie Lindemann took the stage, the energy in the room shifted from melancholic to explosive. Launching into the venomous, high-energy track “Fang,” Maggie proved exactly why she’s being hailed as a leading force in the pop-punk revival. She moved with a “bubbly intensity”, that perfectly combined the raw emotion from her lyrics and her inner 90s inspired alt-rock joy.  The setlist was a masterclass in dynamic pacing, weaving new hits like “Spine” and “Mourning” into a foundation of fan favorites like “Knife Under My Pillow” and “She Knows It.”

By the time the encore rolled around, the 9:30 Club felt less like a concert venue and more like a shared therapy session. We smiled, we felt, and we danced… and that is the key to an amazing evening.
