Skating Polly, Potty Mouth & Control Top – Kung Fu Necktie – Philadelphia, PA – June 9, 2018

A super triple bill took Kung Fu Necktie by storm on Saturday. Led by the youthful rock energies of Skating Polly with a raucous Potty Mouth and Philly’s own punkers Control Top, it was a beautiful June night of rip-roaring sounds.

With their newest album The Make It All Show out on wax, Skating Polly stunned with their hook-laden alt rock. Led by step-sisters Kelli Mayo and Peyton Bighorse on guitars and vocals with the newer addition of their brother Kurtis Mayo, it is a trio you need to see and hear. Mayo’s hair was flying while Bighorse’s vocals cut through the respectable crowd with a laser-sharp intensity.

Potty Mouth were stellar in the second act spot of the night. Abby Weems’ rocking vocals and gravity-defying locks helped to spin the room topsy-turvy with rocking delights.

Control Top were as awesome as ever starting the night. The kinetic bombast of the three-piece makes them one of the most exciting acts in the area. And, on Saturday, they were certainly in perfect musical company.
